Ports Thoughts

 The first proper band I was in was called Crazy Uncle . This was back in the days when I lived in God's Own County a.k.a. East Yorkshire. The live pictures in these photos are mainly shot at venues in Hull such as the legendary New Adelphi Club as well as further afield in Scarborough, Goole, Scunthorpe and Leeds. In the early '90s I moved down south to London where I helped form the ragged magnificence that is Sideburner .  This is a song that I wrote. The live footage was shot at The Fox pub in Twickenham. The audio was recorded live at a gig at The Half Moon in Putney. The other stuff was filmed in California, USA - mainly in San Francisco and traveling Big Sur.

6 years ago Lightning Tom and Al, my good friends and fellow bandmates in the awesome Alt Rock group Sideburner went with me to California for a rockin' holiday and shot some video. The idea was to mix some of it with live footage to produce a promo video to amuse friends and family. At last I have now got hold of a video capture device that has enabled me to grab the footage off the dodgy old VHS tapes. So here is my first effort at creating a film (using Pinnacle Studio). Do you think Spielberg will be worried?
